Customer Quilts

My customers are nice enough to let me share their great work with you.  If you have questions about any of these quilts please contact me through the Contact link.  I hope you enjoy browsing.

Pictured is an example of the technique that was made by one of my friends for an upcoming wedding gift.  She is a beautiful piecer and so conscientious.  The piping adds so much character to the binding that we agreed it will be tempting to add to to all of our quilts in the future.   And the best part is its not hard!

This Radiant Star quilt turned out great.  It was done by a new customer and it is one of her first quilts.  She did a beautiful job and the piecing was very accurate.

My good friend recently let me quilt this beautiful wool  quilt for her.  She does outstanding  hand applique!   And everything else too!  The pattern is “My Garden” by Heart to Hand. I am so happy to share it with you.

Here is a darling applique quilt that I got to quilt today.  The pattern is from  Amy Bradley Designs “Garden Party”.  This customer did a beautiful job of blanket stitch applique.  She intends to add red picots to the edge before binding.  I love it!!

A new customer just brought me these two quilts.  Granny Square quilts are very popular again, and she mentioned this bright one is going to a basement bedroom. The lime green quilt is on its way to a college freshmen’s dorm!  Sounds like fun!

I love the little trim edge she put between the borders.  It really adds dimension and interest.

Fresh Squeezed by Gigi’s Thimble

My new favorite scrappy quilt. I have serious quilt envy.

The Summer Quilt by Geoff’s Mom Pattern Company.

“Cheerio” from the book 40 Fabulous Quilts.  FYI – This is a great pattern book and  well worth the money.  I actually took my book to the local copy center and had them cut the spine off and spiral bind it so it would lay flat.  I use it often!

This quilt is done by our 8 year old granddaughter.  She made it all by herself!  Honestly she really did!  She has been patiently waiting to be old enough to enter in the county fair 4-H division like she has seen her older sister do.  Her older sister won “Best of  Show” at last year’s county and state fairs.

This quilt has a lot of beautiful embroidery.  I have included several pictures so you can see more details.

“Over the River and Through the Woods”, by Crabapple Hill Studio.

This Bee quilt was actually made from two pieces very carefully joined together to make a Bee-utiful throw.

I really love this quilt and am making one for myself.  I hope it will be done early fall.

“In the Meadow We Can Build a Snowman” by Geoff’s Mom Pattern Company.

I like the combination of spring colors.
